The Door
This "door" is entry to the water tower (from 1895) at Holešovice Market. Unfortunately lots of Prague´s water towers are unused. Hopefully this one (otherwise very nice) will be renovated in future.

The House Sign - Three Feathers
House with this House Sign was called In the Hell (till 17th century). One of the reason was that it was vn tucked corner. Sign with feathers is used from second half of 18th century.

Božena Němcová (1820-1862) was a Czech writer. She wrote fairy tales, novels, short novels...., her most famous book Babička (The Grandmother) was filmed a few times...

Historical Figures - Eliška Přemyslovna
Eliška Přemyslovna (1292-1330) was Queen of Bohemia. Her son Karel IV. was King of Bohemia and Holy Roman Emperor - he made Prague the imperial capital and he was a great builder in that city - f.e. Charles Bridge (Karlův most), Charles University (Universita Karlova), Charles Square (Karlovo náměstí - the biggest square in Europe) and others.
Bust of Eliška is placed on the corner of house at Vyšehrad.
