This bridge is very interesting. It has two parts - to the left and right of the island Štvanice. Two very differents parts. It was made by two architects groups and they chosen different style of bridge, materials and looks. The bridge was built in 1908-1912.

ReplyDeleteArchitects like a free reign to design what they like. Wonder why the city fathers approved. Would have saved a lot of money if the had one designer. LOL
